Members of the Company attended one of the most significant events in the City of London calendar. The meeting of Common Hall attended by Masters and Liverymen in the Guildhall is a superb occasion. During the meeting, the Liverymen expressed their preferences and the names of two Aldermen were passed to the Court of Aldermen who voted. Alderman and Insurer Bronek Masojada was declared as the Lord Mayor-Elect. As Bronek was not expecting to be considered/elected until 2027/8, he and his wife Jane are facing an additional challenge of preparing for their new positions at the beginning of November. The Lady Mayor and members of the Livery have made clear their support for Bronek and Jane as they face the year ahead. The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators wishes them well.
