Encouraging young professionals
The Company encourages young professionals to develop their understanding of our sectors by becoming Associates. This has a maximum duration of five years by which time it is hoped they will wish to join the Company as Freemen.
Benefits
- Access to Company webinars as well as specific Associate activities such as talks with industry leaders and experts, social gatherings, and technical visits,
- Opportunity to receive advice by senior Company members to help broaden skills and knowledge and to support professional development,
- Connecting with other Associates and networking with individual and corporate members of the Company, the City of London and the wider Livery,
- Attendance at formal Company Lunches and dinners by personal invitation from members, and
- Possibility of claiming Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Credits for their participation in relevant Company activities.
Fee
There is a joining fee of £50 which covers the first year until 30 June, and thereafter a fee of £50 per year, payable on 1st July.
