Rememberance Sunday

The Water Conservators remembered those who suffered and died in war at services at our Company church, All Hallows by the Tower, St Paul’s Cathedral and at the City of London memorial outside the Mansion House.  Liveryman Christine Duthie laid a wreath on behalf of the Company at All Hallows and Past Master Martin Bigg joined with many representatives of the Livery and the City of London at St Pauls and Mansion House.

At St Paul’s we prayed for all who suffer as a result of war today and asked for God’s help and blessing that we may continue to work together for justice and peace.

At the Mansion House the wreath laying was led by the Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley and the Master Fruiterer laid a wreath on behalf of the 113 Livery Companies.  The Commemoration concluded with a march past the Mansion House by the representatives of the City of London armed forces and uniformed organisations.
