At the end of a very busy Court meeting the Master and Company were pleased to admit James Dodds, Oliver Grievson, Tim Weller and Tony Vasishta as new Freemen of the Company.

At our meal we were pleased to be joined by 2 RAF officers from No. 1 AIDU at RAF Northolt. The Master presented the Air Cartographer of the Year 2025 award to Sergeant Daniel Grugan on behalf of the Company.

Based on her significant experience as an expert witness the Master introduced us to a legal case against a certain Mr Christmas, also known as Santa Claus, for a series of offences including landing on the roofs of houses without notice, entering the properties without an invitation and exceeding any and every speed limit. Despite the generosity of Mr Christmas and the claim in mitigation that he brought happiness to millions of children, the Jury, comprising the most distinguished members of the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators, took a very dim view of such disruptive behaviour. Without hesitation, he was found guilty of all charges and sentenced to return within one calendar year.
Thanks to the Master for the entertainment and leading the Company over the past six months.
In the evening Company members joined representatives of the Tower Ward, City of London and the Congregation of All Hallows by the Tower for Festive Carols by Candlelight. Our grateful thanks to the Revd Nicol Kinrade for welcoming the Company to the service and for the most enjoyable and energetic interactive Twelve Days of Christmas.
