Our Lunch will be held at Trinity House,Tower Hill,London, EC3N 4DH
Trinity House, headquarters for the lighthouse service, was built in 1796. It has a unique and elegant suite of rooms in a tranquil city location overlooking Trinity Square and the Tower of London. The present building was designed and constructed at the end of the 18th century and, in contrast to the Livery Halls more commonly associated with the City of London, has the look and feel of an elegant private residence. Furthermore, Trinity House reports not to the Lord Mayor of London, as the City Livery Companies do, but to the sovereign.
At our Lunch we will be presenting prizes for the best dissertation at each of the water and environmental postgraduate courses at the 15 universities supported by the Company’s Charritable Trust, The Water Conservation Trust.
