Please find attached details of this year’s Michaelmas Court Lunch which will be held onboard HMS Wellington, moored on the Embankment of The River Thames, on Wednesday 24 September 2025.

HMS Wellington was built in 1934 as a Grimsby Class Sloop; Following four years patrolling the Southwest Pacific out of Auckland, New Zealand, she became a Battle of the Atlantic convoy escort ship in the Second World War, escorting more than 100 convoys of merchant shipping to and from our shores.

An insurer and financier, Dame Susan is the non-executive chair of Gallagher UK. Dame Susan will become only the third woman to hold the office since its establishment in the 13th century and the first styled as Lady Mayor of London.
