Join livery Company boats and watch the world’s oldest continuously running rowing race, having first taken place on the River Thames in 1715.
It is for young apprentices of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, and takes place over 4.5-mile course from London Bridge to Cadogan Pier in Chelsea.
The crews will arrive at Westminster Boating Base at 10:00 to prepare and board their boats and at about 11.00 line up in procession order led by the Lady Mayor. They will then head towards London Bridge. The pageant will row in formation until Waterloo Bridge, where, alongside Wood Quay, the crews will then race to London Bridge.
