Join us for an extra special behind the scenes tour of CERN Coordinated through our very own company member and CERN engineer Grzegorz Skowronek. This is your chance to delve into the fascinating world of particle physics and discover the inner workings of the world-renowned facility.
Get ready to witness the marvel of human ingenuity as you are taken on an up- close and personal tour of the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) Detector. This colossal scientific instrument, weighing over 14,000 tons, plays a crucial role in unravelling the secrets of the universe. Marvel at its intricate design, state of the art technology, and learn of the collaborative efforts of scientist from around the world.*
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of antimatter, a truly mind-bending concept that continues to baffle scientists. We will get to explore the Antimatter Factory, where cutting-edge experiments are conducted to study the properties and behaviour of these elusive particles. Learn of the ground breaking research being conducted at CERN to unlock the mysteries surrounding antimatter and its potential applications.
We will also get to look at and get a greater understanding of the crucial role that water plays within this facility.
Join us for what is sure to be an unrivalled technical tour of this magnificent laboratory.
