The Master Prof Carolyn Roberts, and Thames Warden Tom Flood CBE, joined other modern livery companies in Armourers Hall for a dinner hosted by the Worshipful Company of Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Blenders. They were greeted by the Master Anthony Scanlan and fellow wardens and then enjoyed a delicious meal in these splendid surroundings.
Past Master Fiona Adler gave a witty speech on the guests present and the evening concluded with music provided by Julia Solomon and Luke Lally Maguire from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Tom Flood was delighted to meet the incoming Master Scientific Instruments, Jane Fishwick. They agreed to collaborate on providing young people with water quality testing materials.
