I am delighted to announce that Professor Simon Spooner, Associate Director and AtkinsRéalis Fellow for Water Quality and Carbon, will be presenting our the WCWC November webinar on Wednesday 27th November 2024 6.00pm to 7.15pm titled “Reversing the water cycle: Working with living systems and becoming truly sustainable”.

As we transition from fossil fuel energy to renewables, we can then envision a fully sustainable approach, transitioning to reversing the water cycle by which we supply ourselves from downstream instead of upstream. Simon will present a possible framework and approach for achieving this transition by better valuing of multiple benefits and greater stakeholder engagement in the stages of the infrastructure transition processes.

Please note that to attend the webinar you will need to register first via the Eventbrite link  https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1060971015869?aff=oddtdtcreator , attendance is free. You will then receive a return email from Eventbrite with the zoom joining instructions. Any problems contact rob.casey1@hotmail.com
